OPEN Position #179- Full Time Nanny for Two Young Girls Near Furman University in Greenville, SC 29617
Looking for an experience nanny with many years of experience to care for two children in the family’s home in Greenville, SC 29617.
Family Profile:
● They have two girls (ages 9m and 3yrs)
● Start date of early April
● Need coverage Monday-Friday, 9:30am-4pm + recurring date night if interested in additional hours.
● Rate of pay $23-25 based on experience with performance with opportunites for increases in pay after scheduled reviews. Compensation paid through payroll company with direct deposit.
●Looking for someone with lots of experience working with children, either through in-home nanny experience or montessori/pre-school.
● No pets in their family.
Things to know:
● Start date of early April
● Responsibilities pick up from preschool 3 days a week for older child, care for children, lunch prep, adventures, and laundry for children if time.
● They offer 10 days PTO and min 10 holidays/yr- matching family’s work holidays schedule.
● Nanny must be CPR certified prior to start date and have childhood vaccines.
● They are looking for someone energetic/enthusiastic, outdoor friendly, communicative, gentle-authoritative caregiving style, patient, open to quasi/casual. Montessori style parenting and growth mindset.
● They would like someone with experience with an age range of kiddos, specifically 2 kiddos at once with patience, energy and boundaries.
● Ideally the nanny would be someone who likes the 90s style of “go outside and play” but is also willing to get down on the floor and play with the kids.
● Both parents work from home so they will be either upstairs in meetings or popping down to say hello during lunch hours. Both children are very used to this and it does not cause any problems. Mom tries to block off lunch to offer an extra set of hands.
● Prefer a long-term nanny as they value the important role they play in the lives of their children and family. They also respect and are open to suggestions for new places to visit, shifting schedules or ways to address new behaviors, etc.
